What We’re Hiring ForWe are seeking a hybrid Accounts Payable Specialist, who will come into the office every other Wednesday and work remotely the other days.
What You’ll Be DoingThe primary purpose of the Accounts Payable Specialist includes overseeing outgoing payments to partnering companies and organizing all records of payment, invoice, and receiving documents for purposes of providing an audit trail.
- Responsible for overseeing all outgoing payments to vendors.
- Responsible for addressing calls from vendors regarding payment status.
- Responsible for processing incoming invoices, verifying status in our system, & sending payment.
- Oversee verification of checks/ACHs with invoices, prepare checks for mailing, & filing invoices.
- Responsible for directing invoices to appropriate department head for approval before payment.
- Responsible for processing employee expense reimbursement checks.
- Assist with organizing and distributing incoming mail within the Accounting department.
- Assist with processing incoming interdepartmental inquiries.
- Responsible for entering and uploading invoices into Net Suite.
- Responsible for maintaining and verifying accurate W9s for IRS Reporting.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Associates degree in Accounting or higher preferred.
- 3 years of experience in an accounting department or payable department.
- Salary range: $16.78/hour-$21.63/hour + 401(k) + benefits.
