Our client, a growing mid-sized company in Des Moines, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support its accounting team. This contract-to-hire role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills in billing, collections, and customer account management while working in a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Process customer invoices, payments, credits, and account adjustments.
+ Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collections.
+ Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries.
+ Reconcile accounts receivable balances and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
+ Maintain accurate customer records and collaborate with internal teams to support billing accuracy.

Requirements
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; equivalent to 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Billing, or related accounting experience
+ Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems including Quickbooks, Sage, Oracle, Net Suite
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
