Temporary Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support period-end close activities, and maintain accurate financial data. This contract position is ideal for a proactive professional who can adapt quickly to our systems and keep operations running smoothly during a transitional period.

• General Ledger: Create and post journal entries and maintain supporting schedules.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
• Month-End Close: Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and variance research.

• Office Coordination:Manage incoming mail, answer phones, and greet visitors professionally.
• Team Assistance:Schedule meetings, coordinate courier pickups, and assist with special projects.

• Experience:2+ years of experience combining bookkeeping/accounting with office administration.
• Software:Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Organization:Superior time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks.
• Communication:Clear, friendly verbal and written communication skills for vendor and team interaction.
• Reliability:High level of discretion and trustworthiness when handling confidential company records.
