Senior Corporate Accountant

SENIOR CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT | DES MOINES, IA

Madison Street Search is partnering with a well-established, global manufacturing company to add a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its Controllership team. You'll be supporting a major manufacturing, distribution and warehouse operation within a $600M+ North American business. The accounting team is lean, experienced and highly collaborative so this is a great fit for someone who enjoys being a hands-on accounting expert rather than just another cog in the machine.

Jump in on the ERP transformation and take ownership of the month end close process.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years of progressive corporate GL/month-end close experience
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Strong journal entry, reconciliation, variance analysis and financial statement skills
• Experience with fixed assets, inventory and intercompany accounting
• Understanding of standard costing is important
• Advanced Excel;
  Power BI / Power Query a plus
• Someone comfortable in a hands-on, somewhat manual accounting environment
