The Counseling Clerk performs clerical functions for the counseling center. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the district.
Essential Functions- Answer and screen phone calls for the counselors and schedule appointments.
- Schedule college recruiter visits and coordinate Upward Bound and Talent Search visits.
- Assist students with scheduling and course code sheets and record student program changes.
- Prepare reports such as student grade reports, cumulative reports, and senior destination reports.
- Receive payments for PSAT registration.
- Assist students with college teaching, financial aid, and general college information.
- Assist registrar with entering grades in the Student Information System (SIS).
- Other duties as assigned.
