Job Description
Title: Office Clerk
Classification: CLER
Department: Teaching and Learning
Reports To: Building Administrator
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Calendar: 7.5 hour day – 215 day
Responsibilities- Answer incoming phone calls and take messages.
- Sort and deliver incoming mail and faxes; maintain upkeep and orders for the postage machine.
- Make copies for office and staff; print and update teacher substitute folders.
- Order supplies for the main office, teacher’s workroom, and related office spaces and equipment.
- Run reports as scheduled or requested.
- Maintain and update documents such as program lists or staff phone lists as needed.
- Copy and distribute weekly bulletins for staff.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- High school diploma, HiSET, or G.E.D.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Attend work on a prompt and regular basis.
- Maintain satisfactory and harmonious working relationships with the public, students, and other employees.
- High School/Trade School degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Salary and BenefitsPosition Type: Full-Time
Salary: $17.10 to $21.97 per hour
