Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, HiSET, or G.E.D
- Five years of work experience in an office setting or monitoring budgets

- Knowledge of general accounting practices.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Maintain confidentiality.

- Maintain satisfactory and harmonious working relationships with the public, students, and other employees.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Office Manager manages the school office and assists the administrator with general clerical duties and bookkeeping. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the district.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage day‑to‑day office activities by answering phones, greeting visitors, answering general questions, and distributing mail.
- Perform clerical tasks such as making appointments; creating bulletins, forms, and surveys; preparing schedules; drafting communications and making copies.
- Maintain office equipment and supplies; order supplies as needed.
- Manage and maintain attendance records, enrollment, registration and student transfers.
- Maintain student records according to state and district guidelines.
- Manage payroll activities, including the first‑level review of timesheets, tracking and submitting any additional hours for employees.
- Maintain financial accounting records according to district guidelines, including PCards; process all billings and statements; record, count, and deposit all funds and issue receipts.
- Complete and document month‑end activities from the business office.
- Collaborate with the transportation department on transportation requests.
- Provide minor health care in the absence of the school nurse.
- Other duties, as assigned.
