Robert Half is on the lookout for a detail-oriented Title Clerk to support a Financial Services team in Des Moines, Iowa. This contract opportunity with permanent potential is ideal for someone who can review title-related records accurately, manage document-heavy workflows, and help move files efficiently toward completion. The role requires strong organization, consistent follow-through, and the ability to work carefully while maintaining a steady pace.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct title research by reviewing records and source documents to identify relevant ownership and lien information.

- Examine files for missing, inaccurate, or incomplete details and take appropriate steps to help clear title issues.

- Prepare and organize preliminary title documentation to support timely processing and customer file completion.

- Scan, index, and maintain documents so records remain accurate, accessible, and properly filed.

- Enter and update data in internal systems with close attention to accuracy and completeness.

- Perform quality checks on title documents and related information to help ensure compliance with established standards.

- Partner with team members to manage detailed file reviews and move work forward within expected turnaround times.

Requirements

Requirements:

- At least 1 year of experience in title support, title examination, abstracting, or a closely related function.

- Working knowledge of title searches, title clearing activities, and preliminary title report preparation.

- Ability to review detailed documents carefully and identify discrepancies or missing information.

- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Effective time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
