Position: Communications Assistant Onsite / Offsite

Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and organized Communications Assistant to support internal and external communication activities across the organization. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing communications, coordinating information, maintaining records, and ensuring messages are delivered accurately and professionally. This position may be performed onsite, remotely, or in a hybrid capacity depending on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparing, editing, and distributing internal and external communications.
  • Respond to routine inquiries through email, phone, and other approved communication channels.
  • Draft correspondence, announcements, newsletters, reports, and other communications materials.
  • Maintain communication records, contact lists, calendars, and databases.
  • Coordinate meetings, calls, presentations, and other communication-related activities.
  • Help gather, organize, and verify information for reports and communications.
  • Monitor incoming messages and route requests to the appropriate departments or team members.
  • Assist with company announcements, employee communications, and client updates.
  • Proofread communications materials for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency.
  • Maintain organized digital files and communication documents.
  • Support social media, website, or other digital communication activities when needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of communication projects.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling internal, client, or company information.
  • Perform general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in communications, business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous administrative, customer service, communications, or office experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proofreading, editing, and attention-to-detail abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, and standard business software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Professional and courteous communication style.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle business information professionally.
Work Environment

Work Arrangement: Onsite / Offsite This position may be available onsite, remotely, or in a hybrid capacity based on company requirements and business needs.
