Custom Service Technician
Our automotive client is looking for a service technician to work on custom small-engine vehicles. The service technician will be responsible for assembling, troubleshooting, performing repairs, and explaining services to the customers. A high level of customer service is expected in this role.
Starting Pay: $18.00 – 20.00/hour DOE (review at 6 & 12 months)
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assemble and repair small-engine specialty vehicles.
- Assist customers in sales, service, and parts.
- Remove and replace engine components, vehicle bodies, parts, and accessories.
- Perform preventative and regular maintenance.
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services.
- Explain diagnostic test results to customers.
Qualifications:
- Clean driving record/Valid Driver’s License.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to multitask & problem solve.
- Able to work 40+ hours a week especially in busy season (May-Aug).
- Basic electrical/wiring experience preferred.
- Volt meter experience preferred.
