Resource Innovations (RI) is seeking an Energy Efficiency Program Coordinator to join our growing team in Des Moines, IA
. You will help customers save energy and reduce costs by ensuring programs are delivered efficiently, contractors are supported, and customers receive maximum benefit. This role is critical to maintaining smooth day‑to‑day operations and meeting program goals and compliance requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide basic troubleshooting and recommend solutions.
  • Maintain electronic and hard‑copy filing system of applications, rebates, and other supporting documents.
  • Communicate effectively as part of a team approach with other departments in servicing customers.
  • Take customer service calls in pursuit of first‑call resolution.
  • Perform accurate data entry into various database applications.
  • Provide customer service activities such as responding to emails and phone calls.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and call handling in a customer‑centric environment.
  • Safeguard confidential customer information.
  • May provide peer training to co‑workers and job‑shadowing support as assigned in area of responsibility.
  • Willing to support any program within the department as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • The shift for this position will be 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, but flexibility to work an 8‑hour shift as assigned within the hours of 7 AM to 6 PM is required.
  • 2+ years of previous customer service and data entry experience required.
  • Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Self‑motivated and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Results‑driven and able to collaborate across all levels of an organization to deliver on commitments and meet objectives.
  • Able to meet deadlines while adapting to shifting priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Experience with various Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, One Note, and Teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in sustainability and passion for making a meaningful impact on the environment.
Preferred Skills,

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in energy efficiency, sustainability, or project coordination.
  • Experience working with utility‑sponsored rebate or incentive programs is a plus.

Compensation

and Benefits

Competitive salaries based on a candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. The base salary range for this position is $21.00–$22.00 per hour, with potential eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus. The stated salary represents expected compensation for the role; final compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, education, and location.

Comprehensive benefits include three weeks of paid vacation annually, paid holidays, a 401(k) retirement plan with employer match, medical, dental, and vision coverage, parental leave, an employee assistance program, commuter benefits, and additional supplemental offerings.

Employment with Resource Innovations is contingent upon successful completion of a background and reference check. A pre‑employment drug screen may be required if applicable to the position.
