As a Business Support Analyst on Wellmark's Sales Operations and Enablementteam, you will serve as a key member of theteam, supporting the applications and systems that enable Wellmark's sales organization and external producer partners to successfully sell, renew, and manage business. In this role, youwillact as the bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendor partners, providing day-to-day production support, troubleshooting system issues, and helping prioritize solutions that improve the user experience.

Youwillsupport critical sales platforms,largelythosesystems used by Wellmark’sagentsand consultants,while analyzing production trends, coordinating testing activities, documenting business requirements, and ensuringtimelycommunication of issue resolutions. Success in this role requires balancing operational support with continuous improvement efforts to help deliver efficient, reliable, and innovative sales technology solutions.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting business applications,gatheringandvalidatingrequirements, performing user acceptance testing, and collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.

Youexcel at investigating issues,identifying root causes, anddeterminingwhether challenges can be solved through process improvements, training, or technology enhancements.

Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential. Experience working with sales, customer-facing, or vendor-supported systems is valuable, as is an aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving tools, including AI-enabled solutions that enhance user experiences and data-driven decision-making. Most importantly,we'relooking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, builds strong relationships, and brings a continuous improvement mindset to everything they do.

Required:

  • Associate's degree or direct and applicable work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of business analysis or related experience, including exposure to data flow diagrams, requirement specifications, user case scenarios, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Must demonstrate ability to understand complex systems in order to develop test cases and coordinate appropriate testing.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information to diverse internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to work with and coordinate vendor responsibilities including regular conference call meetings, discussions, and presentations.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze information and evaluate complex workflows, data, and systems. Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify issues or inconsistencies; obtains relevant information, relates and compares data from different sources and identifies alternative solutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards, accreditation standards, or guidelines including interpretation of technical specifications for data file and system upgrades.
  • Self-starter with effective time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize competing projects or tasks. Ability to learn and grow through the mentorship and coaching of experienced team members. Flexible and adaptable to change.
