Business Analyst 2

We are looking for a Business Analyst 2 to support business and technology initiatives in Des Moines, Iowa. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can translate operational needs into well-defined requirements, coordinate with stakeholders across the product lifecycle, and help keep projects moving forward. The role combines business analysis, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and support software-related initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with internal stakeholders and product teams to uncover business needs and convert them into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Create and maintain process flows, system documentation, and related artifacts that support project planning and solution delivery.
• Contribute to Agile delivery practices by drafting user stories, refining backlog items, and supporting team tools and ceremonies.
• Coordinate project activities, track progress, and provide regular updates to ensure alignment among business and technical participants.
• Work with development teams throughout the product lifecycle to clarify requirements, answer questions, and validate that solutions meet business objectives.
• Analyze business processes and identify gaps, risks, or improvement opportunities that may affect project outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fellow analysts, and external vendors to support successful implementation efforts.
• Perform additional assigned duties that contribute to operational and project success.
