** Contract Associate Intern
** who wants to join our Technology Contracts & Licensing (TCL) team. This internship would give hands-on experience with agreements that support our research and development (R&D) organization in a collaborative, business-focused environment. You'll contribute to new and ongoing projects, work with experienced team members, and build practical skills that apply across legal, business, compliance, and operations careers.
** What you'll gain:
*** Hands-on experience with contracts, primarily intellectual property-focused research agreements, and licensing, as well as exposure to our R&D business processes.
* Insight into how agreements move from request to review, approval, execution, and ongoing management.

** What you'll do:
*** Help review and organize agreement submissions, contract records, milestones, obligations, and related documents.
* Support key steps in the contract lifecycle, including intake, review, approval, execution, and post-execution tracking.
* Use contract management tools to enter, update, and maintain accurate agreement information.
* Research and summarize key agreement terms, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-up actions.
* Collaborate on projects with TCL team members and partners across R&D, finance, business, and legal operations.
* Contribute to process improvement efforts, templates, trackers, reference materials, and contract-related databases.
* Own a primary summer project by coordinating meetings, tracking tasks, documenting progress, and sharing updates.
* Present a final project summary highlighting your work, key takeaways, and the impact of your contributions.
** What Skills You Need:
*** Curiosity about contracts, licensing, business operations, R&D, agriculture, innovation, or related fields.
* Strong reading comprehension, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
* A willingness to ask thoughtful questions, learn new tools, and take ownership of assigned work.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organization, time management, and ability to balance multiple priorities.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Power BI experience is a plus.
* Good judgment and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
