We're looking for a detail-oriented Roadside Event Specialist II to join our team at Cox Automotive Fleet. In this position, you will play a crucial role in helping us provide best-in-class service to our customers by handling major events, campaigns, and maintaining the flow of open events.

- Manage the day-to-day operational needs of any major events, including high dollar-amount repair approvals and serious situations such as accidents, police impounds and more.
- Ensure timely response for repairs and that any other customer instructions for equipment are handled promptly.
- Ensure estimates are handled accurately.
- Communicate directly and effectively with customers, drivers, service providers and coworkers.
- Ensure customer protocol is being followed at the highest possible level.
- Ensure correct billing is selected and communicated with service provider.
- High school diploma or GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (logistics, transportation, automotive technology). The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as an advanced degree or certification or 5 years of experience in a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in previous role with Cox Fleet as a Follow Up, Breakdown Specialist, or Managed Care preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, word processing and email.
- Great communication skills by phone, email and in person.
- Ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects.
USD 18.17 - 27.31 per hour
Compensation:Hourly pay rate is in the range of $18.17 - $27.31/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
