Project Manager​/Estimator; Commercial Construction

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Commercial General Contractor in Central Iowa on their search for a Senior Project Manager/Estimator to focus on work in the Commercial sector, managing a team putting together estimates up to $50M+.

Education (K-12), Healthcare, Government, Entertainment/Recreation, Office Buildings, Financial Institutions/Banks

• Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
• Ability to oversee 4-5 projects at a time, valuing anywhere from $100K-$50M in project size
• Propose value engineering options to reduce project cost
• Determine costs of labor, material, and equipment
• Push the evolution of the construction documents as necessary
• Oversee the preparation of conceptual estimates
• Meet and maintain bidding and work schedules
• Submit requisitions for the purchase of materials
• Compare competitive specialist and material

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related is preferred.
• Must have experience using Sage (Estimating)
• Knowledge/Proficient in (are a plus):
  Procore, MS Office Products, Blue Beam, On-Screen Takeoff
• 10+ years preconstruction management experience working for reputable General Contractors/Subcontractors

• Commercial Project Experience
