Description
Job Description We are seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead residential and/or commercial concrete projects across Iowa and surrounding states. This position requires hands‑on leadership, quality workmanship, and the ability to manage crews while meeting safety and production goals. Travel is required, with hotel accommodations provided.
Responsibilities- Supervise and lead concrete crews on residential and commercial job sites
- Plan and coordinate daily work activities to ensure productivity and quality
- Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications
- Ensure proper forming, pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete
- Operate and oversee the use of concrete tools and equipment
- Maintain job site safety and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
- Communicate effectively with project managers, customers, and crew members
- Monitor material usage and report job progress
- Travel to job sites in Iowa and surrounding states, staying in hotels as needed
- 3–4 years of hands‑on concrete experience (residential or commercial)
- Prior leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, and placement
- Ability to manage and motivate a crew
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight during the work week

Skills & Qualifications
Commercial construction experience is a plus, and residential experience is also acceptable.
Job Type & LocationThis is a contract position based out of Des Moines, IA.
PayThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
