Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Project Manager II to join our Midwest region team! This role is onsite in either our Des Moines or Cedar Rapids office. The ideal candidate has at least 6 years of successful project management experience in a design‑build environment and enjoys working in a fast, fun, inclusive, and collaborative workspace.

- Work with project schedules, cost projections, contracts, and project status reports.
- Lead construction progress meetings.
- Oversee design development.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, profit projections, schedules and bid documents.
- Negotiate and award subcontracts.
- Help conduct jobsite coordination meetings and provide job status reports.
- Work directly with owners/clients, field teams, subcontractors and various internal teams for support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering or Construction Management.
- 6+ years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry (industrial, healthcare, retail, office, senior living, and multi‑family experience preferred).
- Proven ability to manage commercial projects in the $1‑$75million range.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project and other project‑management tools.
- Advanced knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface, and communicate effectively with superintendents, subcontractors, and owners/clients.
- Willingness to travel for projects if needed.
- Stand‑out qualities: deep knowledge of Microsoft Office and other project‑management tools; proactive and effective communication; focus on customers; high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
The base salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.
