This position plays an important role in our construction projects. You will assist through all life‑cycles of a project by supporting and learning from Project Managers, and work on multiple construction projects simultaneously.
Reports ToProject Manager
PurposeThe purpose of this job is to learn the fundamentals of staff and resource management and assist the project team to ensure quality work is performed in a timely and cost‑effective manner.
Job Duties- Assist the project leader and superintendent with project budgeting, bidding, buyouts, and certifications of occupancies, and project accounting
- Manage submittals, RFIs, closeouts, as‑builts, and shop drawings
- Ensure equipment and material arrive at the jobsite on schedule
- Complete procurement log and submittals in a timely manner
- Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Outlook
- Follow Graham Core Process, including jobsite checklists
- Maintain great relationships with owners/clients, architects, trade partners, and other industry representatives
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field (preferred); associate’s degree or equivalent field experience acceptable
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Extremely detail‑oriented
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass post‑offer employment testing and drug test
- Capability to navigate all areas of a construction site in all types of weather
- Workable in a noisy environment
- Willingness to work within Graham Construction, a 3G Company’s operational regions, as assigned
- Strong desire to obtain and maintain OSHA 30 certification
