Job Description
Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Construction Project Manager to join our National Mission Critical team!
The Project Manager is responsible for administration of assigned projects, including specific phases of project management under supervision, working with schedules, cost projections, contracts, and project status reports.
Responsibilities- Manage assigned project team members and subcontractors.
- Cultivate and grow project owner relationships and relationships with all professional groups involved.
- Engage in the project preconstruction process including developing bid procedures, bid reviews, vendor & subcontractor qualifications, estimating, and scheduling.
- Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Program and required commissioning processes.
- Provide leadership in construction risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and budget decisions.
- Travel as needed for projects.
- Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules.
- Lead construction progress meetings.
- Oversee design development.
- To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management/Science, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 4 years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry.
- Have Mission Critical Data Center project experience.
- Process proven knowledge of complex mission critical MEP systems.
- Have an established thorough understanding of early turnover dates and mission critical commissioning processes.
- Experience with critical work Methods of Procedures process.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, P6, and other management tools.
- Communicate proactively and effectively, focus on customers, and display a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
- Proven ability to manage light industrial projects including office/warehouse; retail and strip mall-type projects.
- Ability to begin to assume responsibility and effectively communicate with superintendents, subcontractors and owner/clients.
- Minimum of six months of estimating/preconstruction and field experience.
The salary range is $100,000 - $130,000. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. The position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
