What You Will Do
- Receive and schedule customer calls for service under direct supervision of the Pod Team Manager (Customer Service Dispatch Supervisor).
- Manage schedule of assigned technicians and mechanics.
- Ensure schedule allows timely completion of preventative maintenance and aligns with monthly forecasting goals.
- Debrief activities of assigned technicians/mechanics daily, coordinating with them to resolve concerns quickly.
- Assess job completion and collaborate with Customer Billing Coordinators and Customer Support Coordinators to progress completed jobs through the appropriate business process.
- Receive customer requests for unscheduled or scheduled service.
- Coordinate labor scheduling to align technician to the appropriate customer and service need.
- Communicate the action plan and services to be provided directly to the customer.
- Ensure work has been performed to the customer’s expectations and perform follow-up with the customer, as needed.
- Answer any customer inquiries and resolve or elevate customer issues as appropriate.
- Ensure technicians are provided daily schedules, maintain consistent communication, and follow up on activities to ensure completion in an established timeframe.
- Maintain customer account information in NxGen, support scheduled service visits on time, order parts/PO creation, provide start‑up support, confirm customer PO, manage work in progress, generate auto service requests, reconcile exceptions (SIR and AP), attend weekly planning/scheduling meetings, handle service rewards, assist with monitoring time and expense reporting, review and correct unassociated timesheet entries for technicians, and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two to five years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or service scheduling.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, with solid organizational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
- Ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
- Ability to prioritize work based on financial impact to business goals and influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks/goals.
- Associate’s degree.
- Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principles.
Hourly range: $21–$27. This position includes a competitive benefits package. Salary range reflects target compensation; exceptional candidates may be considered beyond this range.
