What Will You DoAs a Member Service Representative, you will process routine financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account inquiries with accuracy and attention to detail. You will greet members and respond to their questions or concerns with professionalism and care, communicating through a variety of service channels including phones, live teller machines, email, text, and secure messaging. You will maintain cash drawer accuracy and follow established procedures for balancing, security, and compliance.
You will also educate members about credit union products and services, referring them to the right team members when additional support is needed. Beyond member interactions, you will support daily branch operations, pitch in on other operational tasks, and collaborate with teammates to ensure consistent service and a positive, respectful team environment. Along the way, you will participate in training and development opportunities to grow your skills and career.
WhatWill You Bring
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or equivalent and previous customer service experience. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, friendly and professional communication skills, and the tact and composure to handle a variety of member interactions. You should be comfortable using computers, comfortable educating members and promoting products and services, and eager to learn and grow in a team-oriented environment.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
