We are looking for an experienced, positive Dental Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced dental office and genuinely loves making patients feel Dental Assistant will support our talented doctors across a broad range of services. Clinical Responsibilities- Provide expert chairside assistance to the dentist using four-handed dentistry techniques across a variety of procedures: restorative, cosmetic, implants, laser dentistry, periodontal therapy, endodontics, children's dentistry, clear aligner treatment, TMJ/TMD, sleep appliances, and more
- Prepare operatories, instruments, and materials prior to each appointment
- Take and process dental radiographs in compliance with Iowa state regulations
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and provide compassionate support throughout every phase of treatment
- Take impressions, document treatment notes, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Iowa Dental Assistant Registration (issued by the Iowa Board of Dental Examiners) required
- Current CPR certification required
- Positive, cheerful attitude that puts patients at ease from the moment they walk in
- Proficiency in dental practice management software and digital radiography
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with patients of all ages
