Architectural Design Manager

We are searching for an experienced Architectural Design Manager to join the team of a well-respected design/build firm. Design manager is responsible for developing and overseeing the design process to ensure an effective and coordinated outcome that enables resolute construction. This includes high-level oversight of the design process, schedule and deliverables. The Design-Build Team can vary greatly depending on the size and complexity of the projects, which in turn will affect the number of responsibilities the Architectural Design Manager will be involved in.

Within this leadership position, you will harness and help to grow the Design team, including both new and veteran team members within architectural, interior and building design disciplines. Additionally, this role ensures constant communication occurs throughout internal Design+Build processes, supporting growth opportunities for the individuals, the department and the impact this team has on the company as a whole. Remaining an active team member by also working on projects remains an important part of this role.

Leadership, forward / creative thinking, and drive are core attributes desired for this position. A passion for building science, resiliency and making a caring difference within homes throughout central Iowa is expected and a must.
