Hematology​/Oncology Physician

• Schedule: 2 weeks on/2 weeks off with call; 4-5 days per week; 6 patient contact hours; 8 clinic days;
  Clinic hours 8a-4p
• Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient at Mercy One Des Moines and Mercy One West Des Moines Medical Centers
• Types of Cases: Medical Hematology/Oncology;
  Patient assessments, new treatment plans, ongoing treatment plans, changes in therapy, referral for ancillary services, end of life care, chemotherapy management, pain management;
  Clinic daily volume 10-30 patients;
  Average daily hospital census 10-15;
  Appointment length: consult 40 minutes, follow up 20 minutes;
  Patient population:
  Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial;
  Telehealth available; EMR: EPIC
• Credentialing:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• Certifications: Fellowship Trained in Hematology and Oncology;
  Must be experienced
• Licensure: Active IA License or Active IMLC
