Patient Population:
Adults (Central Iowa region including Boone County, Indianola, and Pleasant Hill)
Setting:
Hospital and outpatient clinic
Responsibilities:
Full-time ENT coverage for inpatient and outpatient settings
Provide all ENT services
Conduct procedures in OR when open time is available
Average clinic volume: 30+ patients/day
Appointment lengths: 15 minutes
Call duties as scheduled
1:1 physician-to-nurse ratio; 2 3 exam rooms per provider
Required Procedures:
All ENT procedures
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: 1:1 ancillary staff ratio; imaging, lab, and pharmacy available in building
Days Per Month:
Full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE)
On-Call/Weekends:
Included in call schedule; weekends as needed
Submission Requirements:
Board Certified Required
Active IA License or IMLC Required
Full-time availability Required
ENT experience Required
