Coordinate the delivery of all aspects of Career Advantage programs in assigned schools. Assist with the coordination of NACEP requirements and related activities within assigned schools.
Essential Functions- Ensure site leadership and school partners understand NACEP program requirements and curricular objectives.
- Consult with Career Advantage Directors, NACEP Coordinator, academic advisors, and Career Advantage Specialist in delivery of the program in accordance with DE, NACEP, and HLC standards.
- Coordinate scheduling for DMACC Career Advantage courses in assigned school districts.
- Lead the DMACC Career Academy at Southridge academic programs. Schedule academy programs and coordinate with academic leadership for faculty assignments and load.
- Assist in communication of DE-related items to concurrent enrollment faculty and site leadership. Keep informed about legislative updates that impact concurrent enrollment courses.
- Serve as primary point of contact to facilitate gathering required information/documentation regarding qualifications for concurrent instructors. Assist with credentialing Career Advantage Adjuncts.
- Assess, plan, and initiate programs and services in cooperation with assigned school districts to increase enrollment and awareness of DMACC opportunities. Represent DMACC in outreach and marketing capacities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master’s Degree in Education Administration or related area.
- Three years of professional experience in education, including administrative or leadership experience in teaching, training and development or other related areas.
- Ability to interpret and apply rules and regulations.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with a wide variety of individuals.
- Knowledge of current software applications.
- Knowledge of high school policies and procedures in delivering courses and programs.
- Knowledge of state law and Dept. of Education policy regarding K-12 and community college sharing agreements.
- Experience in developing new products (programs, courses, curriculum) in an education setting.
- Experience with databases and spreadsheets in an educational setting.
