High School Special Education Consultant
Des Moines Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the 26-27 school year to serve as a High School Special Education Consultant. This position will start in August 2026. Any teacher with four years of teaching experience and two years of special education experience are encouraged to apply.
Please note:
This position also includes a $3,538 SPED Consultant Stipend that is not included in the posted salary range.

Basic Function:
Provide ongoing support to special and general education instructional personnel delivering services to eligible individuals. Participate in the identification process and program planning of eligible individuals to attain the least restrictive environment.
