Minimum Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor's degree - Work Experience:
N/A - Licensure or Certification:
Valid Iowa teaching license (K‑6 art required).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse workforce and student population.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Attend work on a prompt and regular basis.
- Maintain satisfactory and harmonious working relationships with the public, students, and other employees.
- Deliver daily lessons aligned to state and district standards to meet students’ individual needs and ensure growth.
- Create an engaging, affirming, and meaningful classroom environment that meets the academic and social‑emotional needs of students.
- Participate in building and district professional learning communities to plan for instruction, analyze data, and create assessments.
- Monitor student learning on a daily basis. Use multiple data points to guide and individualize instruction.
- Communicate with families on a regular basis.
- Participate in professional development.
- Demonstrate consistent progress on meeting the eight Iowa Teaching Standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
