Grand View University in Des Moines, IA is seeking a part-time adjunct for Philosophy to teach Phil 205 Introduction to Philosophy. The course runs fall 2026, in-person from 8:00 to 9:20 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from August 24 to December 12. A pre-employment background check is required for finalists.
Qualified applicants hold a Master’s degree in Theology, Religion, Philosophy or a closely related field, with coursework in philosophy. Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
