Salary InformationThis is a Specially Funded Position
Starting salary: $83,467-$90,832. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The starting salary range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Job SummaryDirect and oversee the implementation of DMACC TRIO Student Support Services ( TRIO - SSS ) and TRIO Upward Bound ( TRIO
-UB) grants. The goal of TRIO programs is to provide academic support and programming to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to increase the retention, persistence and graduation rates of students from populations historically underserved and under represented in higher education.
Coordinate and supervise the overall operation, administration and evaluation of TRIO - SSS and TRIO
-UB programs as defined by federal legislation and regulations, as well as the grant documents. Develop a system of program management that includes documentation and certification of participant eligibility, as well as documentation and certification of student participation and activity.
Plan and manage the budgets; supervise the completion of all fiscal program reports required by the grantor and college grants office. Collect and compile data; write and review required reports. Conduct regular evaluation of all components of the program and provide a comprehensive report to the college and the grantor.
Supervise all TRIO - SSS and TRIO
-UB staff, recommend personnel actions related to hiring, compensation, performance evaluations, training, leaves, discipline, grievances, work schedules and assignments; administer personnel and related policies and procedures per the collective bargaining agreements and the EEO /AA plan. Plan and coordinate staff development activities emphasizing best practices and principles of effective intervention.
Identify, plan and implement services for program participants.
Develop communication materials for the programs. Communicate program goals and objectives to the college and community. Collaborate with community agencies and resources to meet goals and objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned.
