Senior Software Security Engineer

Senior Security Engineer responsible for securing connected vehicle systems, embedded controllers, vehicle networks, and related cloud-based services.

• 8+ years of full-stack software development experience
• Experience developing Python-based backend services
• Experience with Linux distributions
• Experience applying cryptographic security controls to embedded systems
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Experience securing embedded controllers, vehicle networks, or connected vehicle systems
• Experience working with embedded software, electrical systems, and cloud platform technologies
• Knowledge of global cybersecurity regulatory requirements

• PKI experience, including certificate lifecycle management and key protection
• Experience designing security solutions for autonomous systems
• Experience with key management and access control in resource-constrained embedded environments

• Define and review security architectures for embedded systems
• Influence feature design across embedded, cloud, and mobile platforms to meet security requirements
• Design key management mechanisms for embedded environments
• Design access control mechanisms for resource-constrained embedded systems
• Apply cryptographic security controls across connected vehicle systems
• Assess cybersecurity risks related to embedded controllers, vehicle networks, and connected services
• Implement security controls in collaboration with embedded software, electrical systems, and cloud platform teams
• Design and develop security solutions to support autonomous vehicle capabilities
• Support product resilience against evolving cybersecurity threats
