AECOM is currently seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in site, roadway, municipal, or airport projects. The role requires a background in lighting/signage installation, navigational aids, drainage improvements, utility relocation / protection, and pavement rehabilitation, and the successful candidate will work in Des Moines, Iowa
.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Develop civil airfield design, municipal projects, site design and construction improvement documents
• Coordinate with planning and design team members, contractors, and sub-consultants for ongoing planning, design, and construction projects
• Perform civil design, planning, construction support, and client management services for General Aviation and Commercial Air Service Airports
• Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of engineering and municipal projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, drainage improvements, utility relocation and protection, and pavement rehabilitation
• Involve in projects from start to completion including planning, design, and construction administration, grading, drainage, pavement design, specifications, and construction safety plans
• Collaborate and/or coordinate delivery teams consisting of multi-discipline design engineers and technicians
• Provide AutoCAD or Micro Station 3D modeling mentoring
• Supervise, coordinate, and produce several projects concurrently
• Coordinate with clients, funding agencies, state aviation officials, FAA, and local permit agencies
• Include regular site visits during the design and construction phases of improvement projects throughout the United States

BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D Design or Open Roads Designer
• Experience with civil site development or airfield design and construction
• EI or PE, preferably State of Iowa

• Relocation is available for this position
