As a Senior Facilities Operations Technician - General
, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and lifecycle performance of essential facility systems within hyperscale data centers. In this position, you will leverage your technical expertise to maintain system reliability, troubleshoot issues, and support enhancements that are vital for operational uptime.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and is located onsite in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. Relocation assistance may be available in accordance with Oracle's relocation policies.

• Support and maintain critical facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, cooling, controls, and supporting infrastructure.
• Conduct troubleshooting, incident investigations, and root cause analyses for equipment or system issues.
• Assist in maintenance planning, upgrades, retrofits, and expansions, including participating in commissioning and operational acceptance processes.
• Collaborate with site operations teams to enhance maintainability, ensure safe work execution, and improve documentation quality.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, applying your knowledge of relevant safety, operational, and technical standards.
• Review technical documentation to ensure consistent execution of maintenance and operational tasks across various sites.

• Experience in mission‑critical, industrial, utility, manufacturing, healthcare, or large commercial facility systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, one‑lines, and equipment documentation effectively.
• Solid knowledge of electrical, mechanical, cooling, or controls systems in high‑availability environments.
• Technical certification, trade experience, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.

• Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability in daily operations.
• Good judgment in time‑sensitive situations.
• Ability to communicate technical issues, findings, and risks clearly.

• Experience with critical infrastructure domains such as switch gear, UPS, generators, chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, controls systems, BMS, EPMS, or DCIM tools.
• Familiarity with commissioning support, vendor coordination, alarm response, maintenance planning, and acceptance testing.
• Experience with CMMS, digital maintenance records, trend analysis, and operating procedures.
• Possession of Journeyman Electrician license, HVAC certification, or relevant mechanical trade credentials.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• NFPA 70E training preferred.
• EPA Section 608 Certification preferred if refrigerant handling is involved.
• OEM or manufacturer training on critical power, HVAC, controls, or building systems is advantageous.
• Training from recognized equipment manufacturers such as Schneider Electric, Eaton, Vertiv, Siemens, ABB, Johnson Controls, Trane, Honeywell is a plus.

This role is critical for maintaining 24/7 operations with a focus on achieving 100% uptime. Regular attendance and flexibility for shift‑based work is essential. You must be able to frequently walk, bend, kneel, crouch, push/pull objects, and climb stairs. It is required to lift or move up to 39 pounds independently and participate in group lifts for loads of 40 pounds or greater.

Additionally, you must maintain balance while working from a ladder or elevated platforms. These responsibilities must be executed safely in an industrial environment to safeguard the facility's infrastructure.

Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client‑facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.

Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
