Job Summary

The Maintenance Process Improvement (MPI) Practitioner evaluates, trains, coaches, implements, and ensures sustainability of MPI in Work Management and Planning/Scheduling, as well as in MRO (maintenance, repair and operations) and Warehousing at critical ADM plants. The role collaborates directly with Plant Reliability Technology teams, Business Unit Reliability teams, and site personnel to lead implementation, sustainability, and continuous improvement. The practitioner quickly assesses maintenance organizations and work management processes to close gaps and may also participate in ADM Task Force or SWAT Team initiatives that require rapid adaptability.

Specific

Responsibilities
  • Extensive travel up to 50% of the time from home of residence to assigned plants
  • Assess current maturity of assigned sites’ CMMS, MRO, and Planning and Scheduling processes; identify gaps and recommend actions
  • Develop improvement plans with assigned sites for CMMS, MRO, and Planning and Scheduling processes
  • Collaborate closely with plant maintenance, Business Unit Reliability, and Plant Reliability Technology Center teams
  • Drive metrics, KPIs, and monetary cost savings while improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Implement effective use of maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution processes using ADM’s chosen CMMS
  • Execute measurable improvements during every plant visit
  • Ensure visibility of KPIs and trend management
  • Share foundational best‑practices
  • Establish a sustainable process to close identified gaps
  • Calculate and drive monetary savings at the plant
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a similar technical discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
  • Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance work‑management processes
  • Experience leading and motivating people
  • Knowledge of Maximo, Akwire, and possibly SAP
  • Electrical or mechanical experience in a manufacturing maintenance and engineering environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
  • CMRP or similar technical maintenance‑related certification

Compensation

Base pay for this position may vary depending on multiple factors, including market location and experience. The expected pay range for this role is $92,800.00 – $. The total compensation package also includes an annual bonus and a long‑term incentive plan. Hourly and salaried non‑exempt employees will receive overtime pay when eligible.
