Process Safety Engineer
Global manufacturer of agricultural plant-based ingredients and excipients used in the food, pharmaceutical, and nutritional products industries is looking for a full time Process Safety Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PSM, OSHA, and Root Cause Analysis. Experience in the chemical, food, petrochemical, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred. A Process Safety Engineer's job responsibilities include pursuing a deep understanding of process and design of the manufacturing process and must be able to solve problems and evaluate the operating process for compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
This position is located in Iowa at their largest US facility.
Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility of the Process Safety Engineer will be to develop and implement safety procedures for the company's manufacturing operations while working in a team to develop processes to streamline production operations.
