Job DescriptionAECOM Transportation in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Construction Manager V to manage rail and transit design and construction projects.
- Directs and manages the entire project (often various projects simultaneously), provides guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and act as the primary liaison between AECOM and clients.
- Accountable for all facets of the project including their accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Overall responsibility and management of project including, but not limited to, budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
- BS Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar field + 8 years of project management and/or construction management experience within the transportation-related construction industry or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Experience with in the rail / transit industry.
- Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience utilizing Primavera P6, MS Project and/or similar project management information software.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $125,000 to $200,000
