Our Water Business Group focuses on delivering safe drinking water, treating wastewater responsibly, and developing sustainable water supplies while protecting lives and property through flood control. • Direct and coordinate the work of one‑discipline or multi‑discipline teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary owner of all aspects of complex small to medium projects or routine large projects.
• Manage water‑resources projects, including flood‑risk reduction, levees, dam and spillway rehabilitation, flood control, channel restoration, wetland and lake restoration, stormwater detention and conveyance, and riverine structure.
• Assist in water‑resources permitting efforts and documentation.
• Produce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrently.
• Establish and maintain client relations, and participate in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate staffing and workload through the entire project life cycle, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
• Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort with the team to stay within budget and schedule.
• Prepare project reviews in collaboration with Accounting, Operations, and Business leadership.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.

• PMP certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 10 years of related experience
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience
• Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position (e.g., PE or P.Eng)
• MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience is a plus)
• Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills
• Commitment to active participation in an employee‑owned culture
