THE WORK:- You'll run all aspects of mechanical design development, coordination, and installation for mechanical plant and equipment on data center projects, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to the highest industry standards.
- You'll oversee the design process and development for data center mechanical systems including HVAC, cooling systems, fire suppression, and plumbing.
- You'll provide input on mechanical system designs during project planning and contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
- You'll collaborate with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure all mechanical work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- You'll oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical plant and equipment, including control systems, water treatment systems, HVAC, chillers, CRAC units, cooling towers, and other critical mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- You'll conduct regular schedule and progress reviews, providing updates and insights to client teams and stakeholders.
- You'll oversee the diagnosis and troubleshooting of mechanical system issues during startup and commissioning.
- You'll communicate effectively with other team members to ensure alignment and smooth project execution, and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in mechanical systems throughout the construction lifecycle.
- You'll oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate QA/QC/Cx documentation, including test reports, issue logs, and punch lists.
- You'll oversee the provision of detailed turnover packages for operational teams upon project completion.
- You'll ensure all mechanical systems comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., ASTM, ASME, ASHRAE, AISC).
- You'll stay updated on the latest industry trends, standards, and technologies related to mechanical systems and share insights and knowledge with team members to promote best practices.

The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships - With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required. field. OR additional four (4) years of related experience
- 6+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within a data center or critical environment
- 3+ years of senior level construction management or design management experience
