Job Description & How to Apply Below

Are you a detail-oriented, analytical problem solver who enjoys digging into complex calculations and ensuring absolute accuracy? We’re partnering with a leading financial services organization to add a Product Analyst to their Insurance Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants hands‑on exposure to annuity products, system testing, automation, and actuarial-level calculations within a highly respected enterprise environment.

What You’ll Do:

As a Product Analyst, you’ll serve as a technical product expert responsible for supporting the development, testing, and implementation of new insurance products and system enhancements.

You will:

  • Perform complex annuity product calculations and validate policy values across multiple administration systems
  • Develop and execute detailed test plans for new products and system enhancements
  • Analyze and troubleshoot calculation discrepancies and illustrated values
  • Support manually generated inforce illustrations and non-system supported projections
  • Build automation tools using Visual Basic to extract/load product rates, retrieve policy data, and streamline manual processes
  • Create and maintain documentation for testing tools, procedures, and product changes
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure product accuracy and operational excellence

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with technical execution and wants exposure to real-world insurance product mechanics.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience using Excel and database tools such as Microsoft Access in a business setting
  • Strong math skills and the ability to analyze complex calculations independently
  • QA or testing experience is highly valued
  • Insurance industry knowledge preferred, especially annuity products
  • Experience with annuity administration systems strongly preferred
  • Visual Basic programming experience is a plus
  • Exposure to accounting or finance concepts is beneficial
Why This Role?
  • Gain hands‑on experience validating annuity policy values and actuarial-style calculations
  • Develop automation and testing tools that directly impact product accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Work in a collaborative environment that values precision, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent opportunity for recent math or finance graduates looking to launch a career in insurance operations and product analysis

If you enjoy solving complex problems, working with data, and ensuring accuracy in high-impact financial products, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career.
