Job DescriptionThe Senior Finance Analyst, Corporate Planning is responsible for performing more advanced financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities. This role serves as a key contributor, supporting enterprise planning cycles and business line financial insights.
This role performs work under direct supervision and handles basic issues and problems, referring to more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
What You’ll Do:- Execute components of the corporate budget and forecast process, including assumptions, templates, and timelines
- Prepare monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, identifying key drivers, risks, and trends
- Develop and enhance enterprise dashboards and KPI reporting for leadership
- Partner with assigned business lines to deliver profitability, margin, and trend analysis
- Support management agreement modeling and pricing assumptions in partnership with Finance teams
- Maintain and refine allocation methodologies and supporting models
- Monitor accounts receivable and revenue cycle metrics, supporting analysis of performance and trends
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting enhancements
- Begin to provide insightful commentary to support decision‑making
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; or equivalent years of experience
- 2–5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or analytical roles
- Strong understanding of financial planning processes, forecasting methodologies, and performance drivers
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, including scenario analysis and trend modeling
- Experience working with enterprise reporting systems, planning tools, and/or data visualization platforms
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial results, identify key drivers, and communicate insights clearly
- Demonstrated ability to own recurring deliverables across planning and reporting cycles
- Working knowledge of allocation methodologies, cost drivers, and business unit performance metrics
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage competing deadlines independently
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with cross‑functional stakeholders
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights for business partners
- Demonstrates continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to enhance reporting and processes
- Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter
