Financial Planning & Analysis Professional

We are looking for an FP&A professional to join a services organization in Des Moines, Iowa on a long-term contract basis. This position will play a key role in strengthening financial planning efforts through forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will translate financial data into clear recommendations that support decision-making across finance and operational teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models supporting budgeting and forecasting.
• Lead annual budget preparation and periodic forecast updates.
• Perform variance analysis and identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with finance and operational leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Build scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Prepare executive-level financial reporting, dashboards, and presentations.
• Support process improvements within FP&A and budgeting.
• Complete ad hoc financial analyses and special projects.
