Senior Finance Analyst, Financial Planning

Overview

The Senior Finance Analyst, Financial Planning is responsible for performing complex financial analysis and supporting planning cycles with increased ownership. This role independently manages portions of the forecast, develops insights, and partners with stakeholders to support decision‑making.

• Prepare and maintain budgets and rolling forecasts for assigned areas
• Perform forecast‑to‑forecast and forecast‑to‑actual variance analysis with clear explanations
• Manage forecast assumptions and supporting schedules with limited oversight
• Build and maintain financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses
• Develop and track KPIs and performance metrics to support planning discussions
• Prepare presentations and reporting packages for leadership review
• Partner with stakeholders to gather inputs and explain results
• Identify and recommend improvements to planning processes, reports, and templates
• Support onboarding and informal guidance of junior analysts
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Economics, or related field; or equivalent years of experience
• 2–4 years of relevant FP&A or financial analysis experience
• Strong understanding of financial statements and forecasting methodologies
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with planning systems (e.g., Adaptive)
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
• Solid working knowledge of subject matter

Travel frequency: 0‑10%

Estimated Salary: $66,000 - $82,000

The actual title & salary will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
