Community Banker

The Community Banker is responsible for providing excellent service to our clients while processing various banking transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments. The position will also answer client inquiries, resolve issues, and promote the bank's products and services that best meet the client's needs.

Essential functions include processing client transactions in a professional and efficient manner while following established policies and procedures, accepting payments for various financial transactions, completing additional transactions, balancing cash drawer and vault, maintaining security and confidentiality, processing foreign currency transactions, identifying potential fraud accounts, balancing the ATM machine, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, maintaining knowledge of products and services, promoting banking products and services, answering client questions, collaborating with team members, complying with company policies, assisting with client outreach, fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, and performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, previous banking or related field experience with cash handling, excellent client service skills, capability to prioritize and execute tasks, strong interpersonal and written communication, and proficiency in data entry utilizing banking software and Microsoft 365 products.

Working conditions include performing duties in a professional office environment, requiring travel to other bank locations, availability to work on Saturdays, potential for overtime, extended periods of standing, and ability to lift fifty pounds.
