We are seeking a detail-oriented Loan Document Operations Analyst to support a document-intensive loan servicing and operations team. This role supports post-closing loan documentation activities, document processing, redisclosures, settlement and refund reviews, and shipping.
The position is well suited for candidates with strong office, administrative, analytical, or financial operations experience. Mortgage experience is preferred but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working with paper documents and structured processes, and able to maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Support loan servicing and downstream loan fulfillment activities.
- Process and maintain paper-based loan documentation.
- Prepare, print, package, and ship loan documents, letters, and related correspondence.
- Accurately update loan origination and servicing systems.
- Review and process Closing Disclosure (CD) information.
- Support redisclosure requests when changes are identified.
- Monitor and respond to requests received through shared team mailboxes and SharePoint queues.
- Complete required redisclosure documentation and submit appropriate requests.
- Perform settlement and refund reviews by:
- Reviewing refund settlement statements.
- Comparing settlement information against the applicable Closing Disclosure.
- Identifying discrepancies and ensuring figures reconcile accurately.
- Initiating refund processes when requirements are met.
- Communicate with internal business partners, settlement agents, and other operational teams.
- Perform moderately complex transactional support activities.
- Follow established procedures and escalated non-routine issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records and meet established quality and productivity standards.
- Handle confidential loan and financial information appropriately.
- 2+ years of loan servicing support experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or more of the following
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow structured processes and detailed procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalated issues.
