We’re hiring Loan Document Operations Analysts to join the operations team of a large, established financial services organization in downtown Des Moines.
This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career professional looking to get their foot in the door with a major financial institution and build hands‑on experience in banking, lending, mortgage operations, and financial services
.
Mortgage experience is NOT required. Training will be provided.

The Opportunity- Location: 801 Walnut St., Des Moines, IA
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Hybrid: Combination of onsite and remote work
- Contract: 12 months with strong potential for extension and/or conversion to a full-time position
- Training: Comprehensive training provided
- Data Entry Assessment: Required
You’ll work behind the scenes supporting loan operations and ensuring important financial documents are processed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and processing loan and mortgage documentation
- Entering and updating information in loan servicing systems
- Preparing, printing, packaging, and shipping loan documents
- Reviewing settlement statements and Closing Disclosures
- Comparing financial information and identifying discrepancies
- Assisting with redisclosures, settlements, and customer refunds
- Monitoring requests through shared mailboxes and workflow queues
- Communicating with internal teams and external settlement partners
- Maintaining accurate records and meeting quality and productivity standards
- Handling confidential financial information with professionalism
You do not need to come from a mortgage background to be successful in this role.
We’re especially interested in candidates who bring:
- A bachelor’s or associate degree OR relevant administrative/office experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfort working with numbers, documents, and data
- Good computer and data-entry skills
- Strong organization and time‑management skills
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
Professional communication skills - An interest in building a career in banking, lending, operations, or financial services
Experience in banking, mortgage, loan servicing, finance, insurance, data entry, administrative support, or document processing is a plus —
but not required.
