The Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) Arts Grant Manager

The Arts Grant Manager is responsible for overseeing all phases of the grant life cycle within programs that utilize the arts to drive economic growth and development.

As the Arts Grant Manager, you will administer arts-centric grant programs that work to fulfill the Iowa Arts Council’s mission to cultivate creativity, learning and participation in the arts in Iowa and IEDA goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the annual grant awards process including developing grant guidelines, application materials, and scoring rubrics and criteria.
• Providing technical assistance and program guidance to applicants and recipients.
• Ensuring post-award compliance through project monitoring activities.
• Engaging with stakeholders and facilitating statewide grant workshops.
• Designing, planning, and implementing programs and initiatives that advance arts learning throughout the state.

• Impactful Work: Support individual artists and communities leveraging the arts to improve the lives of Iowans.

The Arts Grants Manager position is a non-merit, non-contract position that is classified by the State of Iowa as an Economic Development Specialist 2 and is exempt per FLSA regulations.
