Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) Make an Impact on Iowa's Livestock Industry Are you someone who is detail oriented, enjoys helping others, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly? Join the Animal Industry Division at IDALS, where your work directly supports the health, and safety, of livestock across Iowa and beyond. In this role, you'll help ensure compliance, coordination, and continuity across critical animal health programs.

What You'll Do In this role, you'll provide essential administrative and program support while helping stakeholders navigate disease programs maintained by IDALS:
- Support USDA/IDALS cervid disease program management. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations by collecting, organizing, and analyzing records for the following cervid programs:
Chronic Wasting Disease, Tuberculosis, and Brucellosis. - Assist with the management of the Bovine Brucellosis vaccination program by efficiently and accurately entering records and maintaining databases. Ensure compliance through federal and non-federal reports.
- Receive, record, and approve licensing for a variety of programs that IDALS administers.
- Maintain accurate records and stay up to date on applicable laws, rules, and program requirements.
- Communicate with producers and industry partners as needed for the various roles performed.
