The Iowa Office of Drug Control Policy seeks a Program Planner 3 to serve as a federal grants program administrator within the Iowa Department of Public Safety. This position will develop, implement, administer, and evaluate the department's federal grants program while serving as ODCP's financial manager, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and managing pass-through grants to sub-recipients. Responsibilities include strategic grant planning, financial management, technical assistance to state and local agencies, and federal reporting requirements.
Keyqualifications:
- Seven years of full-time work experience in program administration or operation, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of federal grants administration processes and 2 CFR Part 200 compliance
- Experience with financial management, fund draw-downs, and federal reporting requirements
- Ability to provide technical assistance and guidance to multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency with electronic grants management systems and financial reconciliation
