Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, promptly recognizing and responding to complications
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety
